Is there an advantage to having more dogs in the race (I’d assume so).

I’m showing Lance Mackey with 16 dogs out and all the rest competitors have 15, 14 or even 13 dogs.

Just want to say “Thanks” for the great race coverage. This is the first year I have paid much attention – what an amazing competition. Yoshida lives just outside my home town so we were excited to see her run and wish her the best in finding her dog and realizing all that she (and all the mushers) has/have accomplished.
